Sourcing & Quality
Our Tallow;
• Is sourced from a family-owned property in New England, NSW, Australia.
• Is slow-rendered at Duddy’s Butchery, ensuring that the natural skin benefits are retained throughout the process.
Our Beeswax;
• Is also supplied by the same family and rendered by us in small batches, ensuring high-quality, small-batch production.
From source to product, we believe in premium quality and natural ingredients for the benefit of your skin and leather goods.
Using our products
• We love the feel and the knowledge that our products contain very little in the way of chemicals. We avoided any unnecessary additions keeping our products clean.
• This means that our products may look and feel different from other commercial products you may have used in the past.
• Things you might notice- they are susceptible to heat and cold, which means you might see slight changes in the consistence and feel of your products depending on where you store them. We suggest you keep them in a cool, dry space, away from direct heat.
• If your products get too hot and melt, don’t panic, they will solidify again when they cool down. They might appear lumpy, again, don’t panic. They are completely fine to use, just scoop out a little and mix in the palm of your hand and apply as normal.
• On the other hand, if they get too cool, they may be firm, scoop out the desired amount and warm up in the palm of your hand and apply as normal.
• We use Vitamin E for both skin care support and to assist in the stabilisation of our products. We do provide a recommended best before with each batch. Due to the reduction in chemical stabilisers, our shelf life may not be as long as commercial products. If you store them well and look after them, they should have along and happy life.
